Vaccination campaigns and awareness

In this day in age, the vast majority of illnesses affecting livestock can be prevented by vaccinations (velogenic, mesogenic and lentogenic in cases displaying monovalent and multivalent symptoms), and the various campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of vaccinations play a vital role in reducing the high number of livestock fatalities in this region.  Through this, it is also possible to monitor the number, and health, of livestock in the region, as well as reduce the cost of treating sick animals and lower the morbidity and mortality rates amongst the vaccinated species.
Maintaining the health of small-scale family herds is of vital importance as they account for substantial percentage in rural families’ income.
