Symposium of Linux of La Mixteca

The group of users of Linux of La Mixteca (GULMIX) started its work in 2003. The impact that the system has had on the community has brought about meetings with other users and developers. Two meetings have taken place with the presence of experts in different areas, such as education, security and programming. With the first Symposium of Linux of La Mixteca, there was the opportunity to unite different people of the world of free software in order to become familiar with new contributions by researchers, professors, businessmen and developers.

The First Symposium of Linux of La Mixteca

The objective that the first Symposium of Linux pursued was the exchange of ideas on the use, development, and application of this great free operating system.
In this symposium, they developed a collection of magisterial meetings given by experts in the area, simultaneous meetings of new research and teaching workshops on different topics. All of this development took place in our place of study, the Universidad Tecnologica de La Mixteca.
